London Persian x Indian Debut

FlirtyFridays arrives in London! Welcome to the inaugural launch of what will soon become the funnest supper club in town. The idea is to slow down the pace of life a little, break bread with new people, and enjoy a home-cooked communal meal made with much love while sipping on lots of wine.

The menu is a joint collaboration between myself and Neha, well-known for her authentic Indian cuisine.

There are two choices of menus - Non-vegetarian one and a Vegetarian one (each can be done with or without wine pairing) The menu are as follows:

A) NON VEGETARIAN MENU

Dips to start:

Yoghurt, cucumber and mint dip
Classic hummus with crushed rose petal and za'atar
Spiced tomato chutney
Served with home made parathas and crudités

Slow roasted rose Harissa lamb shoulder
Rose petal lamb chops with herb dressing
Tandoori palak smoked chicken
Baingan bhartha with peppers and paneer
Iranian jewelled rice with barberries and silvered almonds
Shirazi salad
Cannelini bean salad

Dahi vada (lentil dumplings in spiced yoghurt)
Iranian jewelled rice with barberries and silvered almonds
