Hi All!
Our first Social Impact Supper Club Series is finally here whereby the main aim is to raise awareness of the social issues plaguing our society (also half of the proceeds will go towards the charity). I’ve been brooding on this for quite some time and finally got my act together after meeting and talking to several NGOs and charities. Guests are more than welcome to follow up and ask questions if they would like to volunteer their time to the cause (or donate funds).
We will be supporting the Lifelong Animal Protection Charity founded in 2003 by Sheila McClelland. LAP is a volunteer based and no-kill organisation. It exists to help animals in distress in Hong Kong. Through the generosity of its volunteers and financial donors, it provides shelter and care for rescued companion animals, and work to match them with loving lifelong homes. Connie Yuen, a volunteer for LAP (she looks after dog foster coordination) will be coming in to join us at dinner and share the story of LAP, their ambitions, and the challenges they face in achieving their mission.

Cyrus (from the UK) will be hosting the debut social impact dinner at his home in Masterpiece, TST (on top of k11). He himself has fostered a cat from LAP so we believe this will be the perfect charity to support this time (if you are cat phobic please don’t come).
Besides the time spent organising and coordinating this first social impact dinner, I will be personally cooking up an Italian-American feast for us all (capped to 8 people max). Expect to be fed some jumbo sized juicy meatballs, spicy vodka rigatoni and USDA tomahawk steak plus the works on the evening. Most importantly, connect with new like-minded friends from diverse fields and learn about the LAP story and how they are helping animals in need.
Let’s see what we can do together to make a positive difference to the world, no matter how small.
