The Desi Art Dinner Party

  • Gunpowder 18 ship street, wan chai hong kong (map)

Let’s kickstart the year with a Desi Party at Gunpowder whereby we will celebrate the beginning of 2020 with some traditional Indian art and Indian cuisine (with a twist).

This dinner party is a special one as the date coincides with the Kathaa Festival, a week long festival organised by HK Walls and Memeraki (founded by Yosha). This week celebrates Indian Folk Art and will feature four Indian Artists live painting exterior wall murals in various locations across Hong Kong, complimented by an exhibition of the artists paintings at Gaylord Restaurant & Gunpowder Restobar.

The team at Gunpowder have designed a bespoke menu for us to enjoy in conjunction with the artists’ exhibits in their restaurant. They will also be offering a bespoke welcome drink (to get the evening going) and a free flow selection of wines, beers and soft drinks.

Note: The Gunpowder chefs can cater for vegetarians, pescetarians and vegans. Just let us know in advance (if you have any dietary requirements).
